Fifteen minutes on foot from the zoo, and plainer inside than the food deserves. Everything is halal as well as vegan. Come on a weeknight and the room is yours.
The area
Benfica sits well out to the north-west, near the zoo and the big park. Residential rather than scenic, and worth the metro ride for a handful of places that locals keep to themselves.
