The gelato tubs are kept covered rather than displayed, don't let that throw you. Ask the owner what's in season or what he recommends; he clearly loves the craft and will steer you well. If you're cutting it close to closing time, go anyway, at least one reviewer got an informal hang outside the shop after hours.
